GTC Ventures Inc. was established to promote modern, innovative, environmentally responsible Municipal Waste Management methodologies. All of which would meet Canadian Federal and Provincial Government's initiatives to reduce greenhouse gases in response to Canada's agreement of the 1997 Kyoto Protocol.

Through GTC Venture's own financial resources, much research had already been undertaken in Europe to identify greenhouse gas reducing technologies in composting, anaerobic or aerobic incineration, including biological destruction systems and the planning of plus construction of MSW treatment plants for application.
